The server setup will change a great deal, so you won't be able to use any of the Snood Network functions (other than the news) unless you update to the new version. The game should notify you when the update is ready. This is just a heads-up - we'll be releasing a new updated beta version of Snood 4 in the next couple of days. Your account information will be the same and should automatically be transferred to the new version unless you somehow delete your preferences file. The older beta versions will no longer be able to create score entries, so you'll have to upgrade to continue to use Snood Network functions. In addition to a host of changes, I've made big changes in how the Snood Network functions work. This version has many improvements, including faster game play, easier Snood aiming, a full-screen mode, and a number of fixed bugs. This is Snood 4.0, no longer in beta test.
Jan 26, 2008: We've released a new version of Snood. Also, we've added an option to control the sound reverberation - some folks like that, some don't, and now you can choose. This version fixes some bugs with loading and saving puzzle games, with some of the magic Snoods, and with several other pesky issues. Mar 15, 2008: We've released version 4.02 of Snood for Windows. The aiming of Snoods has been tweaked, and some graphics options have been added to preferences.
